New vehicles come with manufacturer warranties that protect you against defects and factory issues. Understanding your coverage helps you get the most out of your investment.

## Standard Coverage
Most new vehicles include a **basic warranty** (typically 3 years/36,000 miles) covering defects in materials and workmanship, and a **powertrain warranty** (typically 5 years/60,000 miles) protecting the engine, transmission, and drivetrain. Many also include **roadside assistance** and **maintenance coverage** for a set period.

## What's Typically Not Covered
Wear items (brakes, wipers, tires), maintenance services, damage from accidents or misuse, and modifications outside factory specs are generally excluded.

## Extended Protection
Castle Cadillac McHenry's Finance team can discuss extended warranty and protection plan options that fit your needs and budget.
