# VISIT CASTLE AUTOPLEX MCHENRY FOR OUR COMMUNITY BLOOD DRIVE

2020 was a challenging year for most families, but that doesn't mean 2021 can't start off on a better foot.

Here at Castle Cadillac McHenry, we want to give back to our community in any way possible, especially when times are tough. To help residents of McHenry, IL and surrounding areas, we're partnering with the Riddicks Ride Foundation and Versiti(TM) Blood Centers for our Community Blood Drive, which will be held on Saturday, February 27th from 9am to 2pm.

**Stay Stronger Together**Did you know that every two seconds, someone in the United States needs blood? Whether someone is undergoing surgery or trying to beat a deadly virus, blood is essential for saving lives. In fact, one simple blood donation could potentially save up to three people.

Sponsored by the Riddicks Ride Foundation in Island Lake, IL, our Community Blood Drive will be accepting donations to reduce the risk of local blood supply shortages. If you're interested in setting up an appointment to donate blood, we ask that you follow our social distancing guidelines to protect all eligible donors and participants.

**How to Sign Up**To sign up, visit www.versiti.org/IL and fill out the appropriate form. Search for "McHenry" and set the "Start" and "End" dates to February 27, 2021. Find "Riddick's Ride Charity Group" at the bottom of the page and click "Schedule" to set up your appointment time.
You can also download the Versiti Donor app on your phone or tablet to schedule your appointment ahead of time. If you have any questions, please call or text Carrie at (815) 271-2910.
Prior to your scheduled appointment time, please ensure that you eat a healthy meal and drink plenty of fluids. Antibody testing will be provided for all blood donations as part of our standard testing, and proper COVID-19 sanitation guidelines will be in place. A photo ID is also required to donate, so make sure you bring your driver's license or another form of identification.

**Donate Blood and Save Lives**Our Community Blood Drive will be held here at Castle Cadillac McHenry, located at 1107 S. State Road, in our Cadillac showroom. On behalf of our team, we thank you for supporting our local community and preventing blood supply shortages. See you soon!
